Television Tuesdays

Hey all!

Today's Television Tuesdays post is going to focus on a fashion-oriented  program, and one of my favorite shows of all time: Project Runway. Instead of presenting the fashion of a single character on a TV show, this week I'm going to post my favorite garments throughout all of the Project Runway seasons.

[Chloe, season 2]

[Santino, season 2]

[Jeffrey, season 3]

*For the record, I desperately searched for a photo of Alison Kelly's "Waste Not, Want Not" episode dress. She got eliminated for it (UNFAIR!), but it was one of my favorite looks throughout the show.

[Rami, season 4]

[Christian Siriano & Chris March, season 4: one of my top 3 favorite looks of all time!]

[Kelli, season 5]

[Kenley, season 5]

Unfortunately, I couldn't find photos from seasons 6-8. Christian Siriano was my favorite designer, period, but I've also been in love with Daniel Vosovic, Alison Kelly, and Mondo (whose Project Runway final collection - Spring 2011 RTW was unbelievable.)

Television Tuesdays (5/10/11)

Tuesday is here again (and so quickly), which means it’s time for Television Tuesdays! Today we’re going to focus on a male character with suave style -Neal Caffrey from White Collar.
Caffrey plays a former white collar criminal who now assists the FBI as a consultant - and always looks professional and put-together while doing so.
The keys to Caffrey’s style are suits, slim ties, and his signature fedoras. Here are some of his classic outfits:

Love his style? You’re not alone. The exclusive online shopping website, Gilt Groupe, created a White Collar clothing collection inspired by the show’s characters.
And if you can’t get enough White Collar fashion, check out “A Conversation with White Collar Costume Designer, Stephanie Maslansky” here!
Thoughts? Tell me your opinion on Caffrey’s style, or let me know which characters or TV shows you’d like to see featured!

Television Tuesdays (5/1/11)

Time for another round of Television Tuesdays! This week we’ll be focusing on one of my favorite shows that, let’s face it, not many people watch anymore. So, if you’re one of the people that still follows One Tree Hill and knows how fabulous it is and has always been, you’ll love this post! (Even if you’ve never watched the show, you’ll love the clothes in the post!)
In the show, the character Brooke Davis (played by Sophia Bush) owns her own fashion line called Clothes Over Bros. She is feisty and fashionable; here are some of my favorite B. Davis outfits:

Television Tuesdays Time (4/26/11)

Hello, lovely followers! I’ve decided to start up a weekly portion of my blog, called “Television Tuesdays” - Yay!
Television Tuesdays will focus on the style of a TV character, and I’m going to leave it pretty open. It might be a character’s style across a season, or in one particular episode, in a show that’s currently on the air, or something that’s in re-runs.
If there’s any particular TV show or character you’d like to see me focus on, leave me a message or comment!

In today’s section, I’m going to focus on a relatively obvious choice: Serena Van Der Woodsen from Gossip Girl. It was a bit hard to choose between a piece on Blair Waldorf or a piece on Serena, but ultimately I decided that Serena’s clothes are more suited to my personal style. Also, most other blogs seem to focus on Blair, so I wanted to switch it up a bit.
She wears so many beautiful outfits in the show, so I’m going to include a range to showcase her style.

Serena Van Der Woodsen’s style on Gossip Girl can be classified as boho chic. Her outfits are consistently classy, and although she always looks gorgeous and put together, her outfits seem effortless, which is a key factor in a boho chic look (which is quite the opposite of Blair Waldorf’s high fashion runway ready-to-wear looks.) Though her clothes are designer and often high fashion, they are more earthy stylized.
(Some photos have been cropped, but all photos are linked to their original sources.)
Are there any runway looks, outfits you’ve put together, or Tumblr photos you’ve come across that seem to capture Serena Van Der Woodsen’s style? Send a photo reply and let me know what you think!

Update: Blake Lively has dyed her hair strawberry red!

What are your thoughts on the celeb's new hairstyle?
